TASMANIA
Tasmania is an island with many islands off the island continent of Australia and is the southernmost state separated by Bass Strait. It is an island of natural and unique beauty that almost forty-percent of Tasmania is protected and on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Encounters with the native fauna that are endemic to Tasmania are common where you can come across a Tasmanian devil, wombats and pademelons on your travels. With diverse ecosystems and vegetation you may be faced with ancient plant species such as King’s Holly or witness the ‘turning of the Fagus’, the only winter deciduous tree.
There are many things to do in Tasmania including wonderful cruising and anchorages where careful planning is involved as some areas are national parks that require passes to enter. Experience some of the most rugged coastline in Australia and an abundance of hiking trails
MEET YOUR HOST
Having worked on both sailing and motor yachts around the globe over the years, I returned to Australia with the desire to continue offering outstanding hospitality from a shore-based perspective. Establishing Yacht Services Tasmania is a continuation of my passion for providing solutions and exceptional services to boats of all sizes, utilising my experience in all types of yachting from racing, private-use and charters whilst allowing me the comfort of a home base that is the beautiful island of Tasmania.
As an astute observer and hospitality professional, my years of being a Chief Stewardess on luxury superyachts allows me the ability to anticipate your needs and understand your requirements. I enjoy planning and executing events in both my professional and private life so no task is too hard. Prior to my time in the superyachting industry, I was in corporate marketing and communications for over fifteen years in Sydney for many big companies across diverse industries.
I look forward to sharing all that makes Tasmania wild and bold with my yachting alumni around the world. From the exquisite produce and remarkable hospitality to the tantalising waters and pristine landscape.
